I'm Pierre Junior, 60, bilingual French-Canadian from Montreal.
For 40 years, I lived in music — DJ and breakdancer since 1981. I opened for James Brown, spun in New York and France, and built a career on old-school soulful sounds.
Between 2004 and 2007, I joined Toastmasters. I became president of the St-Léonard club, earned my Competent Communicator diploma, and won the district humour contest. That's where I learned to hold a room — not with volume, but with precision.
Then COVID hit.
I had to reinvent myself. Find my new persona.
I went from the music scene to 4 years as an Amazon facilitator and trainer, where I learned to command a room, break down complex workflows, and use storytelling to make hard things simple.
After Amazon, I moved to logistics at Maersk — nightshift Dock Coordinator, Sun–Wed, 5pm–5am. High-volume operations. Structural flow. Extreme efficiency.
The Map Edge started with a single prompt on ChatGPT.
I typed something simple. The AI gave me something powerful. That was the moment I realized: AI isn't for tech people. It's for anyone willing to learn one new skill.
